2 c. sliced raw potatoes 2 c. sliced celery 2 c. sliced raw carrots 1/4 c. uncooked rice 1 lb. ground beef 1 c. sliced raw onion 2 c. tomatoes or tomato juice Salt and pepper to taste Place first 4 ingredients in layers in 2 quart casserole. Break up ground beef over top. Put slice onion over top of meat. Put tomatoes or juice. Add salt and pepper. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours until done. Uncover last 1/2 hour. Add juice if needed. Dip off unneeded grease as cooking. |
