2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter-butter
1/2 c. oil
4 tbsp. Nestles Quik
1 c. water
2 beaten eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda

Preheat oven to 350°F for 15 minutes before baking.

Sift together flour and sugar in large bowl. In saucepan, bring to boil butter, oil, Nestles Quik and water. Pour on flour and sugar mix. Beat thoroughly at low speed. Add eggs, buttermilk and soda. Put in 9x13 pan sprayed with cooking oil or greased and floured.

Bake in preheated 350°F oven for 35 to 40 minutes.

NESTLES QUIK FROSTING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. Nestles Quik
5 to 6 tbsp. buttermilk
3/4 to 1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

Bring butter, Nestles Quik and buttermilk to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients. Mix well and pour over warm cake.

Cooks Note: 1 box powdered sugar = 1 lb. or approximately 4 cups.
