BROWN SUGAR FROSTING 
2 c. brown sugar, packed real full
1/2 c. cream or half and half
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. butter

Boil brown sugar and cream or half and half until it forms a soft ball in cold water. Take off heat and add vanilla and butter and beat by hand until firm enough to put on cake. Also can add black walnuts or other nuts.
