BROWN SUGAR SEVEN MINUTE FROSTING
1 c. brown sugar 1 egg white 1 tsp. vanilla 3 tbsp. water 1/4 tsp. salt Beat continuously in top of double boiler for about seven minutes or until thick enough to stand in peaks.

This really works! You'll probably want to make it as the cake is cooling. It's sticky when you do the actual frosting. Great on a spice cake. Vegan, gluten free...
I put sliced strawberries on top, but they contain enough water to start to melt the frosting, so you might not want to do that.
Delicious, and yes, it sets!
