1 (14 oz.) pkg. of caramels 1/3 c. milk 2 c. flour 2 c. rolled oats 1 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 egg 1 c. butter 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips Grease 13 x 9 inch pan. Heat candy and milk until smooth, stirring frequently. Mix flour, oats, brown sugar, baking soda, salt and egg in a bowl. Stir in butter until mixture is crumbly. Press half in pan. Bake 10 minutes. Sprinkle chips on top of mixture. Drizzle caramel mixture over chops. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool 30 minutes. Loosen edges. Cool and cut into bars. |
