Love this recipe but my family doesn't use salt and pepper so we substituted Italian Seasoning for the salt and pepper

Very easy basic recipe. It lacks in flavor so we used some chicken boullion to season it but otherwise fantastic. The texture was perfect.

This recipe has the best (and clear) ratio for this kind of gravy! I adapted it by adding in some cubed mushrooms, garlic powder, Italian herbs, and topped it off with a hint of honey during the last 5 min. of simmering. It turned out wonderful (light and creamy)! The end result reminded me of bechamel sauce (without the cheesy flavour)..

Tastes like something you'd get from cracker barrel, so easy to make but so good. usually when I make gravy it comes out lumpy and takes a lot longer to make, but this is fast, simple and delicious!

Simple and good to go. Breaded and fried a steak then baked it. Draped it in the gravy after. Who needs KFC and their country fried steak.
