AMISH FRIENDSHIP BREAD 
The first day you receive your bread starter do nothing. Set on counter - DO NOT refrigerate.

2nd Day, stir.:

3rd Day, stir.:

4th Day, stir.:

5th Day, Add:

1 c. sugar
1 c. plain flour
1 c. milk

Stir.

6th Day, stir.:

7th Day, stir.:

8th Day, stir.:

9th Day, stir.:

10th Day, Add:

1 c. sugar
1 c. plain flour
1 c. milk

Stir.

Pour up 1 cup batter each into 3 containers. Give 2 of the containers to friends and keep 1 for next bake. To remaining batter add:

2 c. plain flour
2/3 c. oil
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

You may also add:

1 c. nuts or
1 c. raisins or
1/2 c. nuts & 1/2 c. raisins or
1 c. any fruit (blueberries, bananas, strawberries, etc.)

Grease and sugar 2 loaf pans or muffin pans. Divide evenly into pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done.

I also add shredded frozen coconut to mine with nuts and everybody loves it.
