MICROWAVE VEGETABLE RICE PILAF | |
1 c. uncooked long grain rice 1 c. water 1 c. chicken broth 1/2 c. shredded carrot 1/2 c. chopped celery 1/2 c. chopped green onion 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. chopped parsley In 2 quart microwave bowl combine all ingredients except parsley. Cover with plastic wrap and micro High 5 minutes. Reduce power to medium. Micro 15 to 20 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid absorbed. Stir in parsley. |
