PEEKABERRY BOOS | |
1 c. packed brown sugar 3/4 c. sugar 1 c. butter, softened 1/2 c. milk 2 lg. eggs 3 c. self-rising flour 2 c. quick cook rolled oats Jelly or preserves Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix everything together except for jelly or preserves. Grease cookie sheet. Drop onto cookie sheet by rounded teaspoonfuls. Insert center of cookies with floured spoon or thumb. Fill with your favorite type of jelly or preserves. Cover jelly with a little bit of cookie dough, cook for 8-12 minutes or until done. Center has tendency to stick so it is best removed when hot. The cookies are good warm but are even better refrigerated. |
