1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter, soft
4 eggs (one at a time)
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time. Add flour and lastly vanilla. Pour onto a greased cookie sheet. Score into squares and add a tablespoon of cherry pie filling into center of each square. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 25 minutes. Let cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
