1 loaf unsliced French or Italian bread 1 lb. sharp cheese 1/4 lb. butter 2 egg whites Cube bread. Melt butter and cheese in a double boiler then add egg whites. Dip cubes of bread in mixture. Place under broiler until browned. Serve hot. |
