FRIED CHICKEN IN THE OVEN 
7 c. crunched corn flakes, makes 1 3/4 c.
1 egg
1 c. milk
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 lbs. frying chicken, rinsed & dried
3 tbsp. butter, melted

Measure crushed flakes into bowl; set aside. In small bowl blend egg, milk, flour, salt and pepper. Mix until smooth. Drop chicken pieces in egg mixture then roll in corn flakes. Repeat until all pieces are coated completely. Put in greased pan, single layer with skin side up. Drizzle with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until chicken is tender. Do not cover or turn.
