POTATOES & BEER 
4 med. potatoes, thinly sliced
1 lg. onion, thinly sliced
4 to 5 tbsp. butter
Salt & pepper
2 c. beer
1 c. heavy cream

Preheat oven to 525 degrees. Overlap potatoes and onions in 11 x 9 inch pan. Dot with butter. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour beer over potatoes. Bake 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 375 degrees. Continue baking 40 minutes. Add cream. Bake an additional 10 minutes. 4 servings.
