CRUNCH COOKIE 
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg yolk
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 egg white
1/4 c. sugar and cinnamon, mixed together

Mix and knead first 5 ingredients together. Beat egg white stiff. Press dough into pan with hands until 1/4 inch thick in cookie pan. Spread beaten egg white on top of dough. Sprinkle chopped nuts and cinnamon and sugar on top. Bake 25 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Cut into squares while still warm.
