OVEN BEEF STEW 
2 lb. stewing beef
6 carrots
1 green pepper
3 potatoes
5 stalks celery
2 cloves garlic
2 onions
2 1/2 c. tomatoes
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
3 tbsp. tapioca

Chop or cut ingredients into bite size pieces. Place all ingredients together into a large covered casserole (Dutch oven). Cook covered for 5 hours in a 250 degree oven. Serves 6 to 8.
