2 lbs. stew beef or roast, cut up
7 potatoes, cubed
2 c. celery, chopped
1 onion, chopped
Salt to taste

Grease roaster and put above ingredients in it. Mix:

1 1/2 c. tomato juice
1 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. tapioca

Pour this over the above ingredients, cover tight, cook in 250 degree oven for 5 hours. Do not open oven or lid. This is good served with tossed salad, garlic bread and cake.
