BANANA SPLIT CAKE 
1 box yellow cake mix
1 can crushed pineapple (well drained)
Fresh bananas
1 can vanilla pudding or 1 box vanilla pudding
1 container Cool Whip
Chopped nuts

Bake cake as usual in rectangular 12 inch pan. Layer should be 1 to 1 1/2 inch at most. Cool. Cover cake with vanilla pudding. Spread pineapple over pudding. Slice bananas and spread over pineapple. Cover entire top of cake with Cool Whip. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Cut into squares. Serve each square with a cherry on top.
