FOIL BAKED CHICKEN | |
1/2 c. water 1/3 c. catsup 1/3 c. vinegar 1/4 c. brown sugar 4 tbsp. butter, melted 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp. lemon juice 2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. paprika 2 tsp. chili powder 2 tsp. powdered mustard 2 broiler-fryers, cut up In bowl, blend together all ingredients except chicken. Dip chicken pieces in sauce. Divide chicken in 4 to 6 serving-size portions, placing each serving on separate piece of heavy foil. Pour about 1 tablespoon sauce over each portion of chicken, seal foil securely. Bake in 400 degree oven for 45 minutes. Open foil packets, brush with remaining sauce. Bake 15 minutes longer. Makes 4-6 servings. |
