CRANBERRY BREAD 
2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. butter
Boiling water
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, well beaten
Juice and rind of 1 orange
1 c. raw sliced cranberries

Sift flour. Measure and sift again with dry ingredients. Stir in beaten egg. Put orange juice, grated rind and butter in measuring cup and add boiling water to make 3/4 cup. Stir this into flour mixture and blend well. Add cranberries and pecans. Bake in greased loaf pan at 350 degrees for one hour or until done.
