BEAN SALAD 
1 can cut green beans, drained
1 can cut yellow beans, drained
1 can kidney beans, with juice
Chopped green pepper to taste
Thinly sliced onion, to taste
1 can chick peas, drained, optional
3/4 c. sugar
2/3 c. vinegar
1/3 c. salad oil
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper

Combine all beans and vegetables in a large bowl. In a jar with tight fitting lid, combine sugar, vinegar, oil and seasonings. Shake well until well mixed. Pour over salad and toss lightly. Cover and chill several hours or overnight. Toss again before serving.
