ORIENTAL CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 lg. onion, chopped 2 celery stalks, sliced 1/2 lb. bean sprouts 1 can sliced water chestnuts 1 green pepper, diced 1 c. frozen peas 1 can mushroom soup 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 1/2 c. warm water 1/2 c. uncooked rice 1/4 c. soy sauce 1 tsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. ground ginger 1 can chow mein noodles Saute ground beef, onion and celery. Drain fat. In large casserole dish, combine remaining ingredients except 1/2 of chow mein noodles. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Top with remaining noodles and bake 10 more minutes. |
