CHERRY - PINEAPPLE - NUT CAKE 
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple in heavy syrup
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1 pkg. yellow cake mix for 2 layer cake
1 (3 oz.) can pecans or 1 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. butter

Grease 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Spread pineapple with its syrup evenly in baking dish. Spoon cherry-pie filling over pineapple. Sprinkle dry cake mix, then chopped pecans over fruit. Cut butter into thin slices and place slices over ingredients in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until golden. Makes 12 servings.
