HOMEMADE ICE CREAM 
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 lg. can evaporated milk
1/2 gallon milk

Beat eggs until light in color. Add sugar to eggs and beat at high speed until thick. Add vanilla, salt and evaporated milk, beat until sugar is dissolved. Mix with whole milk. Freeze. For richer ice cream, use 1 quart whole milk and 1 quart cream instead of 1/2 gallon milk. Makes 1 gallon.
