DUTCH APPLE BREAD 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
2 tbsp. sour milk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt, optional
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. grated apples

TOPPING:

2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. cinnamon

Cream together sugar and butter. Blend in eggs, sour milk and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Fold in apples and pour into greased loaf pan. Combine topping ingredients until crumbly. Sprinkle on top of batter in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour. Let cool for 10 minutes, then remove from pans.
