CHOCOLATE SYRUP SQUARES 
1/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (16 oz.) can chocolate syrup
1 c. plus 1 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. nuts (chopped)

Mix in order given - pour into jelly roll size pan 10 1/2 x 16. Bake 30 minutes in 350 degree oven.

Frost immediately.

FROSTING:

6 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. milk
1/2 c. sugar (granulated)
1/2 c. chocolate chips

Combine butter, milk and sugar in pan, boil rapidly for 30 seconds. Remove from heat, add chocolate chips, beat until smooth, spread on bars. Makes 15-18 servings.
