BILLIE'S CHIFFON SALAD 
1 c. crushed pineapple
1 oz. or 1 env. (Knox) plain gelatin
3/4 c. hot water
1/4 c. cold water
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. grated American cheese (Longhorn)
1 c. cream, whipped
3/4 c. chopped pecans

Mix pineapple and sugar. Simmer 5 minutes. Soak gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes. Dissolve gelatin in hot water, then combine with pineapple.

Chill until very thick. Fold in cheese and whipped cream and nuts. Chill until firm.
