CREAM OF SALMON SOUP 
1 can salmon
1 onion, sliced
1 qt. milk
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. flour
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt

Break up salmon into small pieces. Scald milk with onion, then remove onion (I did not). Melt butter; blend in flour, pepper, and salt. Add milk gradually, stirring constantly. Add salmon and cook until smooth and slightly thick.
