ICE CREAM CAKE | |
1 angel food cake (already made) 1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream 1 pkg. strawberry Jello 1 c. boiling water 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries Take ice cream and strawberries out of freezer to thaw (soften). Mix Jello with boiling water and chill until partially set. Break up cake into 2 inch pieces and put in a large mixing bowl. Pour gelatin Jello over cake. Add frozen strawberries with juice, fold in ice cream. Pour (spoon) into tube pan and freeze. To serve: Place pan in warm water for a few minutes. Garnish with strawberries. |
