FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 (9 inch) baked pie shell
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. white Karo syrup
1 c. cold water
2 tbsp. strawberry gelatin
Several drops red food coloring
1 qt. fresh strawberries
Whipped cream

Combine sugar, cornstarch, syrup, gelatin, and water. Cook in saucepan, stirring constantly, over medium heat until mixture is clear and thick. Cool slightly. Arrange hulled berries in pie shell and pour cooled liquid over top. Chill. Serve with whipped cream.
