PIE PAN PIZZA | |
1 tbsp. prepared mustard 2/3 c. milk 2 c. prepared biscuit mix 2 (No. 2) cans tomatoes 1 tsp. oregano 1 tsp. garlic powder 3 med. green peppers 2 lbs. hot pork sausage 2 c. Cheddar cheese, cubed 1 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese Stir mustard into milk; blend with biscuit mix. Knead for 1 minute; divide dough into four parts. Line 9 inch pie pan with dough. Combine tomatoes, oregano and garlic in saucepan. Slice green peppers thin; add to tomato mixture. Simmer, covered, until peppers are tender. Crumble pork sausage into skillet; saute, stirring frequently, until thoroughly cooked and browned. Drain off excess fat. Combine sausage with tomato mixture; spoon into prepared crusts. Top with Cheddar cheese; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake in 375 degree oven 25 to 30 minutes or until crust is golden brown. |
