FRENCH SILK CHOCOLATE PIE 
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 (2 oz.) sqs. unsweetened chocolate, melted & cooled
1 (8 or 9 inch) baked pie shell

In mixer, cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light. Blend in chocolate and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating 3 minutes after each egg addition at medium speed. Spoon into cooled pie shell. Top with Cool Whip and shave chocolate over top. Chill for several hours. Serves 6 to 8.
