MEXICAN CORNBREAD CASSEROLE 
1 c. corn meal
1 c. milk
2 eggs
1 can cream style corn
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. bacon drippings
1 onion, chopped
1 garlic butter or 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 lb. grated cheese
2-3 jalapeno peppers, chopped fine

Bake in an 8 x 12 inch casserole dish at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. May be used as side dish or bread.
