GERMAN RED CABBAGE 
1 tbsp. olive oil
3/4 c. Italian salad dressing
1 c. chopped onion
6 c. shredded red cabbage
1 to 1 1/2 c. chopped apples
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Brown onion lightly in 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add red cabbage, salad dressing, apples and lemon juice.

Simmer 30 minutes covered. This freezes well.

For the salad dressing, a home made Vinaigrette may be used.
