OAT CAKES 
3 c. bread flour
3 c. rolled oats (reg.)
1 c. butter
1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. water

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and add water. Roll out between wax paper 1/2 inch in thickness and cut into squares. Bake in moderate oven at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.

NOTE: I use regular flour, 1 stick of butter, 1 stick of butter and 1 cup Crisco.
