QUICK OATS CAKE 
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. quick oats
1/2 c. butter
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking soda

Pour water over oatmeal and let stand 20 minutes. Add butter, sugar and eggs and mix well. Add other ingredients and stir well. Add raisins if desired. Bake in 9"x13" pan at 325 degrees for 35 minutes. Frost with cream cheese frosting.
