ROLLED OATS CAKE 
1 c. quick Mothers Oats
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 stack butter
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/3 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Put Mothers Oats in boiling water and let soak for 20 minutes. Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Mix flour, cinnamon, soda, salt, and vanilla. When oats have soaked 20 minutes, add to creamed mixture. Bake in 13x9 pan.
