MUSHROOM CASSEROLE | |
3/4 c. chopped celery 3/4 c. chopped onion 3/4 c. chopped peppers 2 lbs. sliced mushrooms 1 c. butter 10 slices bread 8 tbsp. butter 10 oz. pkg. Mozzarella cheese 2 cans cream of mushroom soup Saute first 5 ingredients. Toast 5 slices of bread cut into cubes. Pour 4 tablespoons melted butter over cubes. Put in bottom of long baking dish. Pour sauteed mushrooms over cubes. Repeat step 2 and pour over mushroom mixture. Spread 1 1/2 to 2 cans mushroom soup over all. Bake 45 minutes at 325 degrees. Remove from oven. Spread Mozzarella cheese over top and bake 10 minutes. |
