1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. light brown sugar
3 med. apples
1 c. sour cream
1 egg

Blend together cake mix with melted butter. Take all but 2/3 cup of mix and press into square baking dish. Mix the 2/3 cup mixture with 1 teaspoon cinnamon and the brown sugar; save for topping.

Slice and boil the apples for about 8 minutes. Drain and place over cake mixture. Mix sour cream and egg together and pour over apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon mixture as topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
