VEGETARIAN ITALIAN PATTIES 
3 eggs, beaten
1 med. onion, chopped finely
1 clove garlic, minced
2/3 c. cheese, grated
4 slices whole wheat toast, broken
1/4 c. quick oats
1/2 c. nuts, finely chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can tomato soup & 1 can water

Mix well and form into small flattened balls. Saute slowly, OR place balls on greased cookie sheet and flatten with greased glass dipped in corn meal. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. After baking or sauteing put patties into a baking dish and add diluted tomato soup. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes.
