LANA'S CHERRY SLICES 
2 1/2 - 3 c. flour
2 sticks butter (real butter)
1 egg yolk (save the white)
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix 1 package dry yeast, 1/4 cup warm milk and 1 teaspoon sugar. Mix ingredients together. When finished, divide dough in half. Pat into bottom of pan, put on 1 can of pie filling. Roll rest of dough on wax paper and lay on top of fruit. Brush with egg white. Bake in 325 degrees for 45 minutes.
