QUICK CHERRY SLICES 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs, one at a time and beat
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. flour

Mix all together; put into a 10x15x1 inch pan, reserving 1 to 1 1/2 cups. Spread can of cherry pie filling, dab of batter on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Can drizzle white icing when cool. Great for breakfast or dessert.
