1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
3 tbsp. sour milk
2 eggs
1 c. mashed bananas
1 3/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix in the order given. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

ICING:

1 mashed banana
1 tbsp. butter
1 lg. pkg. nuts
3 tbsp. cream
1 pkg. confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Add cream last because the size of the banana will determine the amount of cream. Use all banana in place of cream, if desired. When cake is cool, frost.
