Put apples in buttered deep dish pie plate or cake pan. Mix topping until crumbly: 3/4 c. flour 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 c. butter

Spoon over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes or until topping is lightly browned and crisp. Serve warm. Serves 4 to 6.
