PICNIC COLESLAW 
2 1/2 c. shredded cabbage
1 c. shredded carrot
1/2 c. sm. red onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
1/2 c. dairy sour cream
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. water

Layer cabbage, carrot and onion in a salad bowl. Cover surface with plastic wrap. Chill. To make dressing, stir together sour cream, vinegar and sugar. Pour into a container with a tight lid. Turn over and chill. At picnic time, pour dressing over vegetables in the bowl. Toss to mix well. Makes 6 servings.
