8 slices bread 1 lb. ham, cubed 3/4 lb. cheese, cubed 7 lg. or 8 med. eggs, slightly beaten Green peppers and-or onions (optional) 2 2/3 c. milk 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 1/4 tsp. salt 4 tbsp. butter, melted Butter a 9 x 13 inch glass dish. Place bread cubes and ham in dish. Top with cheese. Combine eggs, milk, mustard and salt. Pour over cheese. Pour butter on top. Cover, refrigerate overnight. Bake uncovered at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Cool 1/2 hour. |
