PEANUT BUTTER BARS 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. flour
1 c. oatmeal

FROSTING:

2/3 c. sugar
3 tbsp. milk
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chocolate chips

Cream butter, sugars, peanut butter and vanilla until fluffy. Add egg and milk; mix well. Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Beat well. Stir in oatmeal. Spread in greased 13"x9" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes (no longer).

FROSTING: In saucepan over low heat combine sugar, milk and butter. Bring to a boil; remove from heat, stir in chocolate chips. Pour over baked bars. Cool and cut.
