3 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/3 c. None Such mincemeat (1/2 jar)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
3 eggs, well beaten

Sift together flour, salt, and soda. Cream shortening; add sugar gradually; cream together until fluffy. Add eggs, beat until smooth. Stir in None Such mincemeat. Gradually add flour mixture, mixing well. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet. Bake in moderately hot (400 degree) oven, about 12 minutes. Makes about 5 1/2 dozen cookies.
