1 c. butter
3 eggs
1 c. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking soda
3 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 pkg. mincemeat
1 1/4 tbsp. hot water

Cream butter and sugar together until creamy. Add eggs and cream very well. Then sift together the flour, baking soda and salt. Mix well. Dough will be a little stiff. Then add water, nutmeg and mincemeat (broken up). Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees until light brown.
