JELLY ROLL | |
1 c. sugar 3 lg. eggs, well beaten 1 tsp. lemon or vanilla 1 c. sifted all-purpose flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt Powdered sugar 1 (12 oz.) jar jelly or jam Gradually beat sugar to egg. Beat very well. Add water and extract. Add dry ingredients to egg mixture beating until just smooth. Pan 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1, greased and wax paper lined. Bake at 350 degrees about 20 minutes. Turn out onto cloth sprinkled with the powdered sugar. Remove waxed paper, roll up cloth and all until cool. Unroll and spread with jelly. Reroll without cloth. Serves 15. |
