JELLY ROLL 
4 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. cake flour

Mix eggs, baking powder and salt; beat with an electric beater until eggs are light and thickened. Add sugar and vanilla and beat until foamy. Add sifted flour and mix lightly with spoon or spatula. Grease a jelly roll pan and cover with waxed paper. Smooth batter into pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 15-20 minutes.

Have a cloth covered with powdered sugar and take the cake and easily lay it on the cloth. Trim edges before rolling, first adding and spreading your favorite jelly. Roll with the cloth which makes it easier. Keep rolled in the cloth for about 1/2 hour. Remove cloth and wrap the jelly roll in waxed paper.
